Lansdown Hall

The stage area within this space is unique, as it can be completely dismantled to allow a larger exhibition space. By opening up the partition doors backstage, a smaller stage area can be erected to provide a viewing gallery for sporting events.

The Lansdown Hall has a top of the range sound and light gallery which is home to all of the equipment available for supporting events that are held in the Hall. Our technicians will ensure your event runs like clockwork and is visually spectacular, with creative use of lighting.

The Lansdown Hall can host comedy nights. Previously, the hall has featured such well-known names on the comedy circuit as Bill Bailey, Jethro, Milton Jones and Roy Chubby Brown, and concerts by acts from all genres, including ‘Kerrang’ favourites You Me at Six and guitar virtuoso Gordon Giltrap. Premier league snooker has been held within this hall, as well as World Ranking boxing bouts featuring Trowbridge resident and former middleweight champion Nick Blackwell.
